I plan on keeping this 04 sierra quadsteer for a while. Mint for the year and hardly any rust. Interior is almost like new

Cant find houses for a reasonable price around my area. Nor are vehicles coming down much, maybe a few dollars but nothing to talk about. Still looking at 60-70 for a bare bones 3/4-1 ton truck. Used ones are still stupid high with miles to match the price... Its amazing what prices are in different parts of the world
I will also say they are no signs of any slowdown in nothing. I went on vacation the other day and it seems everyone else did too. Lol

Same my area as well. Nothing on lots for cars and trucks unless used. Housing is still sky high but not going up anymore and some going down a little bit.

Some people are really getting bent over by the dealers because they want a hood. Friend of mine just had two new ones show up in Lincoln with the big Cummins and 48” flattops and they’re under $200k. And both of them have 2 color paint from the factory. The 2 990’s he ordered a month ago with the big Cummins and factory 3 color paint are coming in at $212k.

    I’m torn.

You guys know what type of work I do.

I ordered both trucks with 3.58 rears and auto 18 speeds.

    I’m thinking I do 1 standard and 1 auto….

Also, with the off road stuff I do should I bump the rears to 3.73 ?

My other trucks have 4.10 and 4.30 and it just suuuuuucks.

Why does it suck? You're not running the big road at 75 mph much are you?

Having just a bit of experience with North Dakota roads after a brief time hauling crude in the springtime when the frost comes out, I would think that the savings you realize from having gears that make starting a heavy load in the mud easier, more than offsets what you would realize in fuel economy gains by going to faster rears.
