Did a little more research; I think your right. I based my assumption on the fact they reported to FMSCA around 2,000 or so drivers and trucks some 4 years ago and 6,476 today: https://ai.fmcsa.dot.gov/SMS/Carrier/63585/CompleteProfile.aspx Reading articles years past they have reported in the press as much as 7-8k trucks so if anything their down in size supporting your claim.

 

Not to mention I hear their installing driver facing cameras in all units

I have a standard response for anyone that believes the employees of ANY company are the most valuable resource.

"Sure Mike, whatever you say. Just let me know who goes out the door first, you or the copy machine."

 

That is a nice, new facility. Crete is a "premium" sub-contractor compared to who typically pulls their trailers. Also, that account pays it's contract drivers considerably more than others - Crete/Walmart, Mankato is actually a pretty good gig.

 

That is just an embarrassing thing to have on yer trailer.
