He left out the part about how he Was going to unload it if he had to. You know when you back up and keep bumping the dock and all the freight jumps off your truck. Oh well off to wal mart new caney tx. There good in there.

I was in and out of more Walmart DCs than I can remember when I drove for Schneider. Never had any problem, except for the occasional pencil neck. Of course, I can't recall a single load that was not drop and hook with them, so I got lucky there. It would get frustrating at times waiting on the line of Walmart trucks to be handled before they would get to us lowly non-Walmart drivers. I used to love getting a Walmart load because I would automatically know it wouldn't be a big deal. Now if I had to work for a company that had a lot of live load/unloads, I'd have a whole different opinion. I don't like Walmart and think they have caused problems in a lot of communities when they come in. Several years ago, I think it was the Dallas Morning News that had a pullout section about this phenomenon in Texas. It was interesting reading and I wish I would have kept it.

Walmart has that no idle policy but do I listen, nope.I also don't think it's right chargeing drivers $50.00 to unlad their stuff.Bet they make a killing everyday.
-
I also never use my flashers on their property unless I'm backing up.
-
I think for the most part its just a suggestion, especially in high temperature and high humidity areas.
Yeah, I don't agree with that either, but I ain't the one paying it.
Wal-Mart has a "four-way flashers on at all times while on their property" policy? I didn't know that.
Hmm, the only time my four-ways come on is when I'm backing up, going slow or sittin' on the shoulder. -
dna you are a rebel

Now thats' one thing I do is use flashers at every customer. That's a good habit to get into.
-
you're probably right.I have never seen the yard dog come over and tell the truckers to shut the trk off.
-
Have only had one problem with Walmart DC in refusing a load of Apples. Other than that I like that some let you in early and in 2 hours you know you are empty. I guess I have just been lucky. Never loaded out of one and glad I don't.
