    Have a question regarding application,
In 2007 I was involved in an accident that was 100% not my fault and is listed as such on my mvr. Should I mention it in the application?
    Thanks

Go back as far as is requested on the app I don't think they require nine years concerning accidents I believe It's only 3 as long as there were no fatalities and you should be good.

    Woodenleg Thanks this.

From a driver's perspective is one better than the other?

Application is in, Shelby,NC DC. Wish me luck!! Been with the same employer for almost 10 years and quite nervous to be honest. Hopefully I'm one of the lucky ones to receive a call.

    Woodenleg Thanks this.

My advice - I would list it and let them make the determination versus not listing it and they find it. Might be interpreted as being less than honest.

    • No preventable accidents* while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
    • No preventable* DOT recordable accidents (collisions resulting in disabling damage and/or immediate medical treatment away from the scene) while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last ten (10) year

I don't think you have to unless it's been within the last 3 years and was preventable or last 10 years if DOT recorded it as such.
