I think you meant tool. My truck is just that. I put premium because that's what i prefer and my wife's car is turbo and only takes 93 and above. Sam's is still the best option. 25c to 30c cheaper than anything ive seen.

Higher compression, or forced induction (your wife's) I would say yes.
As for a pickup truck, your just flushing money, you might be getting worse fuel economy by doing so

The only fuel a vehicle should use is the one recommended by the manufacturer. Higher grade fuel doesn't always work better.

I had a 2004 GMC Canyon with the I—5. I had to run 93 in that. Regular just made it knock too bad.

Then the knock sensor wasn't working.

Modern engines will automatically re-tard (had to spell wrong so forum software would not block it) timing to compensate. The GMC did not require high octane fuel. Sorry, but that knocking was them two brain cells in there bouncing off of one another. :p

I didn’t eat any of the cookout food: I was offered it; but politely declined... and, my knuckles are just fine: my flip flops are stored in my shower bag which I use everyday at a truckstop so as not to inconvenience any of you uniformed Walmart drivers that I used to revere; until I see the attitudes towards those of us just brought in on short term contracts by your supervisors to plug a hole in the dam.... have a great day; ok?
