I frequent truck junkyards, and junkyards in general, quite a bit. I buy wrecked/damaged cars to repair.
I profit on the fact that it is a throwaway world. You wouldn't believe what I see out there.
I recently found a nice complete set of indicators on a gas company truck, and I absconded with them.
Fluorescent green and like brand new, you can tell at a glance they haven't budged.
    Great peace of mind.

    Blackshack46 Thanks this.

Have you tried floating the idea past a few truck companies?

Crete has a yard in Kansas City, MO. From how you have described the things, they cannot be a safety hazard, and will have no significant impact on anything except possibly helping drivers spot a loose lug.

I do not know the terminal manager there, but 'free' and 'potentially useful safety equipment' are two concepts that will likely at least make them want to see your products.
