If that's truly the case, 45 in a 65 makes Scottie a hazard.

I could see if the road was slick going slow but none of those vehicles slide while passing him.

You are also asking us to condemn a WS hand based on the same bit of footage. I have read the whole thread..........and you sure have a "thing" for WS.

Thank you for the correct answer.

Someone else asked the speed limit on this road-- it is 55 at night on Montana 212. Here we were eastbound a few miles west of Broadus MT weigh station. When I pulled in there for a 30 minute break, did a little walk around the entire back of the trailer was covered in 6 inches of caked on snow and ice. Let me repeat again, I was driving since 0100 AM on slick icy roads, in fact every so many miles they had portable electronic signs flashing a message--

    ICE AND SNOW
    TAKE IT SLOW

which is exactly what I was doing. So don't go throwing the noose up around the first tree branch you see condemning me here. The fact remains this alleged professional truck driver illegally crossed the double yellow lines against the law.

Why is everyone picking on scottie.?

You've got hundreds of threads on this site saying dumb are drivers going too fast for road conditions and on here you guys are bashing on a guy that wants to drive cautiously.

What's it gonna be TruckersTruth? Are you gonna be hypocritical??

    rachi and scottied67 Thank this.

I admit I don't know when he started his day but I can tell he had not been driving very long because the back of his trailer is clean from ice and snow and we can clearly see his trailer lights. When I pulled over a few miles ahead at the weigh station my lights and license plate and bumper, everything was caked on with 6 inches of snow and ice.

If you feel the road was icy and needed to drive at a slower speed more power to you but that does not mean others should feel the same way.like I said Watkins did a fine job at passing you and safely from your video along with the vehicle ahead of him and neither trk slide at all..you sure it's not just Watkins you have it in for so you're trying to make him look bad?
