It is. Has been bad for years, keeps getting worse.

 

No wonder truck drivers like to stop in weed!

 

That is really good news that a small city is accomadating truckers. Weed is overrun with trucks late at night. Very pleasant place to spend a 10 hour break too. Loved taking my dog out back behind the Pilot and hike up and down the trails in the piney woods.

Pilot has truckstop electrification but you have to have a 100 foot power cord to use it unless you want to head in and get stuck.

 

Trucks make up a good portion of the towns revenue. They built that lot 6 years ago and are planning for a second spot of 60 trucks. I think its been a pilot in the 6 years i was out..dont think i seen it before it was a pilot. Weed was talked about on landlinenow. Couple weeks back. Its the coolest temps in the summertime.

 

Can they put a Starbucks there, please! I miss Starbucks...

 

My favorite name for a town - Mianus, CT. It blatantly states what it is. A #### hole.
