I know we had a thread about weirdest haul but what's the weirdest place you ever picked up or dropped off from/to?

Saw a guy on YouTube and he delivered to a Maximum Security Prison.

Cow manure farm. And the farmer tried to tell me that the cow pies were very valuable. I mean seriously. It is just a pile of ###t.

My first load in big truck delivered to SubTropolis, an underground industrial park in Kansas City, near KC Royal Stadium. My trainer and I watched a Swift driver bang his trailer into one of the rock pillars to get it facing toward the dock.

I believe the facility was used in WWI to store ammo/gun powder.

I dropped a load once at Springfield Underground in Springfield, MO. There is also a Kraft distribution center above the cave. It used to be a limestone mine.

With "organic" vegetables being all the rage these days, it's a valuable fertilizer since chemicals cannot be used on certified organic farms.

We (team) had a delivery address that was basically "look for the three green barns". It was in Virginia somewhere. They gave us some basic directions. We got there the night before, found it and parked. Apparently a neighbor saw us and called the cops. The cops couldn't find it.

The pickup was a little weird as well. We we're expecting some kind of factory. It was a guy's house out in the woods in Central Florida.

I hauled race row boats for a life guard association in a dry van. These were self bailing human powered boats where the bottom half was enclosed filled with foam and balast, and the top half had big holes so when they pushed thru surf, they stayed upright and all the water ran out. The interesting part, we loaded on the street next to the boardwalk in Asbury Park, NJ just down the street from the Stone Pony (the place where Bruce Springsteen started out). We had a constant police patrol, and could hear the occasional pop of random gunfire in the distance. We were pretty much in gang territory.

Delivered dock side to the USS Ronald Reagan aircraft carrier in what I thought was Coronado island but was actually considered San Diego island in beautiful San Diego California. Then .... Delivered to right outside Reno Nevada next door to a brothel. Glad I'm older now so I wasn't tempted to go check out what they had.
