Werner or Swift?

    Hey Chinatown..quick question. Do you know any good companies here in the West? I was going through May's orientation but in the end it wasn't for me. Might have to go with Schneider if I can't find something local or something better. Thanks

    Gordon trucking & system transport are good places to get your foot in the door. I started my driving career with Werner and I wish I didn't. Swift is better, but not by much.

    System wouldn't take me. Gordon wouldn't either. Think it was my spotty work history. May Trucking wasn't too impressive. Good people but company seemed to care more about money than drivers. They didn't even have direct deposit.

    I talked to my uncle that drives a reefer over the weekend. He works for Dynamic Transit out of St Louis. He said they will consider recent CDL grads if they are at least 23 and have a clean MVR.

    I think they had to go on Elogs and run West Coast runs, which is good. They have a terminal in Los Angeles also.
