    It's intresting to get a follow up story from this thread.. back in 2008 I was just starting middle school, so that seems like a different lifetime to me.

    2015 would be my high school graduation date.. and that was already 5 years ago.
    I've always wondered what things were like back in the 70s though.

    I wasn't trucking in the 70's but truckers back then made alot more money, there was no Elogs, no emissions systems to plug up, eveybody could Idle, there was party row at the rear of the truckstops where you could meet up, drink beer and barbecue. :blackeye:

    Back in the 70's there was no terrorist attacks in our country, no Antifa and their cohorts, (You would actually get arrested for burning down buildings and rioting) California was a pro business, conservative state. Alot more freedom in our country then.
