Re-enrolled today in Vicksburg and figured I should get my notice soon since my passport and TWIC renewals were abnormally quick.
Just curious if there’s a better guide out there. Can’t find my old notes from school.

CristCDL has really good practice tests specific to your state and they're completely free.
Iirc they have every possible question the DMV can put on your test.
As far as a study guide, there's one that Barnes and Noble sells that's really good. You should be able to ask them in person or look it up online; it covers everything in detail and was wrote in a way that makes it easy to remember.

I'd just write down these 120 questions/answers and memorize them. No matter what sources you use, unseen questions will always appear on the Hazmat test. You can also read through the Hazmat section of your state CDL Manual as well.

2025 FREE CDL Test Practice - All Endorsements Crist CDL has free Hazmat practice tests

There is a great app cdl prep. It has the exams etc so you can do the practice exams as well. When I did mine it had the exact questions so it was familiar

Some of the questions that appeared were not found in the hazmat section of the study guide from the DMV, but would have been found in the general knowledge section (for those studying for their CDL learners). It’s dirty that they would put some criteria in that section but not have it in the hazmat; the only part of the book we would actually bother studying. Some questions on the tanker test were also hidden in the general knowledge as well; I’d have passed with 100% otherwise.

Well since almost everyone taking the HazMat endorsement test also has passed the General test they probably assume you would know those answers in the General category. It doesn't matter if you pass with a 100% or pass with a minimum score. It's a pass/fail test. Trust me, if it was important to have a high score I would also be working toward a 100% score. I am happy to pass my state test missing 3 or 4 questions because I can get that score just studying the 10 Federal tests at TruckerCountry.com Sometimes I don't even look at my state's CDL manual and take my passing score and go home. Nobody but you and the state will even know your score. There is no benefit from passing with a 100 versus passing with 70% (if that's the minimum passing score).

Are these the exact questions that appear on the test? It seems at one point they didn’t want the questions available to the public (been over a decade though).
