If it's salary then mileage does not matter every week. Provided you book the loads and deliver them. Some drivers like myself like salary. Takes away much of the bother. Unfortunately the owner, that's you are on the nut for that salary payout each week regardless of your revenue. So... something to consider.

For this industry your pay is real good.I don't know of any companies that pay that in salary. You'll get the drivers calling you.

Im sure they will call but i want them to stay. So im trying to come up with a great system that will keep them satisfied and well rested.

I am also looking forward to ELD
Hopefully it helps level the playing field.

Look for drivers with a good work history and MVR.Don't just hire anyone that your insurance company accepts.

I would put some kind of minimum on how hard they need to run...I mean, with salary, a driver might start out running like you need to stay profitable, but some drivers will become dairy farmers (by that I mean, milking it for all they can get) especially if the loads aren't booked and dedicated.
