A Wiend intake for a Cat? You don't happen to have a picture of this do you, never heard of such a thing.
Yeah pretty much all the drivers at the terminal I worked at hated the Internationals. It was all I drove when I worked for them so it was all I knew, and they had inverters and TV mounts, so I didn't complain lol.
You just cleared the biggest hurdle. You are willing to learn new tricks. It will take some time till you know all the tricks and get a feel for how best to work the auto. But once you do ...............it is nice to drive. ps software is important. I had to remove the tanker/liquids software on my truck before it shifted like i wanted. But that was my engine with my auto which were not Volvo made. I would say footcontrol is the most important in driving a auto with tankers.
According to a guy that I work with, use the manual mode and shift it that way. We pull tankers and he said it was not bad at all.
Actually I asked a friend with whom worked with me there, what they were running back then. Terry Johnson was using Borg Warners not Weiand and the intakes were ceramic coated. I don't know where I got Weiand from. He said that they flashed all their own ECM's on all the E'models and 6NZ's and they ran top notch.
