I know exactly what you mean. You'll get that from a few folks here, but most are helpful. It's a little off topic, but I'm curious how things are at CFI since Heartland agreed to buy them, assuming you're still there. I had looked at regional with them in the past, but I'm not sure what's going on over there now. I like that they don't seem to run Internationals, but I read somewhere that Heartland bought them for their equipment, so who knows what they'll be left with in a few months

I saw what they did to you over there and it wasn't right but admit it, you knew what they were going to say before you even posted the question. Anyway, you're better off now.

I know you want both but if you had to choose between running the whole lower 48 or regular long runs which one is more important to you?

Regular long runs suck if they are too repetitive, and/or in the wrong lanes/areas.

    Been there, done that.

FWIW--give me the lower 48, instead.

Does Indian River have any California or other West Coast terminals? I have a tanker endorsement.

Doesn't Crete/Shaffer run all 48? I remember talking to a guy on the Shaffer side coming cross country with a load of apples out Washington I want to say. Can't remember where he was going.

Also, what about that company Koleasco? They are not too far from you. There's a thread on here that a member started not long ago. He was running out to California and back, getting killer miles.

Holland Ent. Out of ND supposedly averages over 1,600 miles per load. Shipex also touts long runs. I can vouch for May Trucking, we often had 1500 plus mile loads, many times across country although those seemed to be less frequent.
