    No APU, but you can idle as much as you want if the temp is warmer than 65 or colder than 28. I don't think you can train your wife unless you already have trainer status, but can't hurt to ask.

    What company you pull for? My husband and I have been considering making a move to a company with faster trucks and preferably a apu with little rules about idling. We’d love to be able to idle.

    A lot of smaller companies work well with you. Governed at 75 or 80. We have a father son team driving. I rationalize the father is training the son. These smaller companies hire all over the country too.

    It’s awfully nice being governed above 70. Get contentious drivers who have to speed up when I pass them. They aren’t governed above 70. I’ll blow them away. Ain’t interested in playing games with “BillyBob” …
