Well, Swift does have...what, 16,000 drivers?

With that many it stands to reason the good ones would far outnumber the screwups. We just only see the screwups for the same reason as only bad news sells newspapers.

I wonder if anybody's calculated what percentage of Scottie's posts are YouTube embeds, and what percentage of those are the one Swift truck in a parking lot.

    MJ1657 and Razororange Thank this.

Embedded in the post. I know the forum automatically converts many links, so maybe it just automatically embeds YouTube links.

You can figure out how to get a video off your forehead, onto a computer, up into the internet and on to a website.... but "embed" catches you? :biggrin_2556:

    Wrong.

Where I normally run I'm not around a lot of Swift drivers. The number of stupid maneuvers i've witnessed the few I see shows that the vast majority of them are not qualified to drive a tractor trailer.

Years ago, there was a hand that used to post occasionally called @saddletramp57. Odd guy. Some times, I couldnt really make heads or tails of his posts, but for some strange reason, I found his posts enjoyable. (Yeah, I do understand that some times my posts are in left field....sorry @johndeere4020).

So, then you come on scene. I tried to give you the benefit of a doubt, because sometimes I too have a bit of difficulty getting my thoughts into words. Even through the "NeverNeverLand" comments. But thanks to scotty, I finally figured you out.

I've noticed that you talk an awful lot about things in which you know absolutely nothing about. And you give out reeeeeeaaaaaaaaalllllyyyy bad advice to wannabes. Like Oprah Winfrey...America's Ugly Friend. The thing that I couldnt grasp was why would someone purposely steer someone wrong. Fortunately, your comments on this thread made me realize that you are not a driver. Never have been. Well, maybe one of those weird guys that roam the highways in a late 70's POS Chevy van with a whip antenna, trying to play 'trucker'.

How do I know? Every seasoned driver understands that what scottie was doing was wrong and his crowding the oversize was not situation awareness. Scottie was driving like a rookie wheeler and you saw situational awareness. You cant drive.

You made up the whole driving career thing. All those crazy posts now make sense...you never was in the saddle. I reserve the IGNORE feature for the useless in this forum. Congradulations, you have made the list. Thanks Scottie for clarifying things for me.

I think you hit the nail on the head... a guy claims to be in his 50s or 60s, yet has 70 or 80 years of experience. Amazing.

Ruthless, LoudOne, 7-UP and 11 others Thank this.
