What do you do on your resets when not home and OTR?

Log into your google maps and look for points of interest near you. If they are too far to walk, use Uber. Lately, I have been on a kick to visit as many cool places as I have an opportunity to do. State capitols are high on my list. So far I have visited:

Denver CO
Sacramento CA
Olympia WA
Salem OR
Cheyenne WY
Bismark ND
Lincoln NE
Topeka KS

FYI, there's truck parking in Tombstone.

I did the same in Mass. Rented a car and drove up the coast of Maine. It was off season, so my beachfront room was 70$.

I used to do the same things I would do if were home. Bobtail to the grocery store, cook my food for the week, do my laundry, wash dishes etc etc.

I often will reset at a planet fitness parking lot and work out 2-3 times in 1.5 days. And use the facilities in there. Or if you can find a walmart that's truck friendly so you can stock up on groceries. I always check out the satellite map beforehand and check out the reviews to see if any truck drivers reported getting towed for parking overnight. And you can call the place and ask about overnight parking. They usually don't care

I literally had 5 minutes left on my cycle no recaps coming. PC’d ten minutes to my favorite NJ turnpike plaza..has a Panda Express.

That said, the only thing I want to do for 34 is sleep, do naughty things and chill. I like drinking my coffee and people watching..
Sometimes I just go into the service shops if there’s a nice female working and bug her. Have her look up parts for my truck that I know they won’t have, lol

I used to spend time doing laundry but don’t anymore because it’s a giant ripoff.

Lastly sit and post a lot on TTR.

If you’re old like me you’ll spend most of the 34 just sleeping, lol

Make the best of it. You don't have to be stuck in the truck. Pick a place to park where you can get out and explore.

I like being outside and away from people. I park where I can get out for a hike, bike ride, or run.

Got a 6 mile run in this morning from the Valentine truck stop to the Niobrara and back.

When you bobtail to the grocery store, do you lock your 5th wheel? How do you secure your trailer? Where are you leaving it?
