I have those glove with fleece inside to fuel or work outside when it's cold. I have many of those generic looking stupid gloves that I use when it's raining and have to tarp in it, I'll be replacing the wet ones with dry ones every 30 minutes.

My main gloves are pig skin or leather type ones because I can easily grip stuff.

Steel toes boot...always wear em. Always have to kick a #### strap or chain across the parking lot because the wind blows at the wrong time.

I want to get something comfy for the bunk, and just the bunk because my boots track A LOT of dirt and gravel and I HATE it. Vacuum every other customer and hope it rain so my side steps gets clean

I think only ones I drove with shorts and a sleeveless shirt, very nice but once I step outside, boots, jeans, long sleeve and my cap

Walmart sell pretty good steel toed boots. Slip on style are better than lace ups.
I usually bought work gloves by the package at Walmart or Lowes or Home Depot. Harbor Freight probably has some good deals on gloves.
Most comfortable socks I've found are at Walmart and they're actually for diabetics, but great socks. They're so comfortable can't even feel them. They're in the mens clothing section.
You'll need a good flashlight also, mainly for pre-trip inspections. I've seen drivers using those lights on a headband for pre-trip inspections; pretty good idea so you have both hands free.

    Grijon and Birdman803 Thank this.

I Drive in tennis shoes or my favorite moccasins with rubber soles, I carry a pair of St boots but absolutely cant stand to drive in them. Buy my gloves at Harbor freight 10 pair at a time.

I'm trying to figure out what you people are doing when fueling that you are getting so much of it on your gloves that they need replacing so often. Is it really that difficult to fuel without getting it all over your gloves?

Long FLD and ajohnson Thank this.

If you do dry van or reefer you won't need steel toe shoes.
