    Geotab is a hot mess.

    It lives or dies, depends on cell coverage.

    There is iffy coverage for Verizon, at the Domtar paper mill at Hawesville KY.

    It will ask a Yes/No question, but Yes/No buttons are not given! Nor is there a “Accept All Changes” button!

    If there’s a Help facility, I haven’t seen any “?” buttons.

    There is a SDK, software developers kit, offered, but I suspect you surrender any exclusive use to any in-house improvement made.

    Geotab = Garbage

    Eh? Company pays for it. Upgrade this weekend, we haven't had any trouble. They are putting in a 1 mile before trip starts, and a few other things.

    If your fleet assigns drivers to units, that will help.

    If the drivers work a fixed shift, that will help.

    If the device stays in the truck, that will help.

    If the mobile provider has perfect coverage of your operating area, that will help.

    I just found another job, and hope to never be obligated to use my phone as ELD, ever again.

    Good Luck
    Steve

    Ah, we have assigned tablets. Log in, pick your truck, verify your pti, and punch in, drive. Post trip, verify your day, punch out, repeat.

    I heard a Hannity endorsement of "Gorilla" which indicates they must think they have their crap together to spend that kind of money and target that many. (It was a spot on another talk show. I don't care for Hannity's talk or tv show but I'm aware of his ad dollars command)

    I am not required to run an ELD, but if i did. I would chose the name brand of CHARMIN. ELD is just as good as toilet paper.
