This happened to me about 20 years ago. I changed banks to what I thought was a better bank that went really easy on fees. Only this bank was one of the many Georgia Banks that failed after the banking crisis about 14 or so years ago. Then the national bank that took this bank over changed things so bad I started banking with a better bank! Still have some fees, but nowhere near what I was being subjected to. I also now use a bank and a Credit Union. My bank is where most of my none real estate tangible assets are. The Credit Union is where I have my debit cards and checks with. If I need to I can go online and move cash.

Why did you buy so many checks?
Are the other two banks, any good?

Get a box and burry it in the back yard. Or a coffee can.

30 years? And they show their appreciation for your loyalty by putting the screws to you? Can you use the merchants and planters bank?

Drive to another town and find a credit union. Banks suck.

Got a ton of checks, I ordered 250, then old lady ordered like 1000, cheaper in bulk, I guess.
It’s taken years, but I’ve still got a cabinet drawer full of them

I rarely use a check. When I do I print my own already filled out. My bank will accept them. In my opinion, purchasing blank checks is too expensive. My accounting program can link to my bank. All I have to do is tap print. The program is already programmed to use my small document printer, not my main one.

I never use paper checks. Just use the online bill pay. Never have an issue.

My kids are asking me- What are these things that are called checks? So, took the time to explain what they are then they told me, but you know you can use Zelle, Venmo or even Wells Fargo to transfer money faster than you can write one of those things called a check? Then they looked at me like I was getting way to old and walked away shaking their heads while looking at their phones.
