What if it Snows?

You need to learn the new way. Ha ha. Those old Trucks weren’t that great. The 80’s, and especially the 90’s were the best. It was exciting to see such improvements made in a short time. Equally disappointing to watch the decline in reliability that followed. I’ve been noticing the International’s. Never a big fan, but if I were to consider a newer Truck, have to take a serious look at them. Been seeing a lot of FLDs lately. They were hard to beat, for making money. Still are 25 yrs later, better than the new Plasticliners.

 

Speaking of targets. If I walk outside and look toward the Elizabeth River I can see the outline of the Little Creek Navy base. This is the home of the East Coast SEAL Teams and the headquarters of most of the "Brown Water" Navy units. Then behind me less than a mile is where the Commanding Officer of the USAF Air Combat Command parks their butt when sitting at their desk. A few miles beyond that is the location of the Yorktown Naval weapons station. I can't see it because of the HRBT but the largest Naval base in the world is located in Norfolk, the home of the US 2nd Fleet as well as the US Navy Fleet Forces Command. Beyond that over in Portsmouth are several vital ship repair places along with a major US Shipping port. Then in another direction is the Newport News shipbuilding company. This is where they build US Aircraft Carriers. Since light moves faster than the sound I might see some bright lights VERY brief moment before I instantly feel a few million degrees of heat!

There is some debate about how these "toys" will be delivered. We know there are BOOMERS just outside the US waters all along the US East and West coasts. Those things will be going off within 5 minutes.

 

Gravy enhanced breakfast is lifting my mood. Nuclear devastation talk on TTR not so much.

 

I'm going to have a small breakfast steak with (fake) scrambled eggs, wheat toast, and some sliced tomatoes.

 

So does this affect getting a cat?

 

No. I love cats! I really do! At this point in my life, I rather not have one in my home.

That guitar rift wakes up people fine.
I mean, it’s now 8, but at 6 on a school day, I shouldn’t have to go flip the mattress to get people out of bed for school..
Next time it’ll be a bucket of cold water, that’ll get some attention I’m willing to bet.

Well, anyway, 4pm load appointment, so I’ll go to the bank, whenever they open... and see if then changing names and yada yada, if checks are still good/be honored.
If not, give me a desk check maybe two to carry.
