I’m woke, another long night of sleep. Hiding out behind a Shopping center. Time to get coffee, hit Harbor Freight, and go to the T/A. Should be lots of safe Parking spots. Dealership right next door. 75 and sunny today. Going to enjoy it, catch up on some maintenance. Do some Laundry. Got my 34 hr reset. Did 68 hrs in 7 days. Another day to catch up on things is needed.

Hmmmm the true meaning of breakfast. This is causing a deep dive of contemplating, pork products is a given but what about the big picture? Start of the day sets the tone.

But "somebody", possibly a local, owns it now. What are they doing with it?
Now that I think of it, could be an absentee land owner, a "fool who rushed in"..........
From my casual research on land over the years, the results seem to suggest "good land ain't cheap, cheap land ain't good".
Ya get what ya pay fer, I suppose.
#### shame. With highway access (and water) it would be a good location for a Davetro.
Plenty of room for one, anyway.LoSt_AgAiN, 4mer trucker, Eldiablo and 8 others Thank this. -
I’m good at finding and remembering stuff people hate.
This truck just dropped his trailer.
Haven’t decided yet, but I’d say he has major issues as the truck cab is leaning at a strange angle to the RHS.
The longer you look, the more it seems to lean.

I believe that this phrase "perpetual right of way" means that the easement or right of way is never-ending - it lasts forever.
You’ll still own it and have access, but they to must have access across the landLoSt_AgAiN, 77fib77, Eldiablo and 5 others Thank this. -
They're trying to sell it to you. Or anybody. For the same reason that anybody sells land...they're not making any money from growing or grazing.
The only way to get a good deal on ranch ground is to catch somebody who's selling out and dividing up his acreage. The only way to get ahead of that particular game is to have insider knowledge of what is going to sell when and for how much. You also have to know the area.
Sometimes realtors know but they're not always trustworthy.. Realtors live and die by insider information. If it's a plush deal the realtor will thrown in a straw man as a phony buyer and get as much for himself as he can.
Meantime, you get stuck with the left overs, the pieces of ground that nobody wants. Or you can buy from the straw man at ridiculous prices...like so many people have...and hope the economy lets you keep the place.LoSt_AgAiN, 77fib77, Rideandrepair and 4 others Thank this. -
The part about easements is covered differently by state laws. Several parcels of land I still own in Georgia I have easement rights that are a part of the deed. This is VERY complicated law. Only a fool would buy a property and not secure these easements. Many years ago I sold a small lot that was used as a business. I was not looking at the property close and the owner of the property between mine and the highway had placed a fence up. All I had to do was show the Sheriff my deed my easement rights and the Sheriff sent a deputy to make contact with that owner and notify him he HAD to allow access. Just saying easement laws can be somewhat complex and each state handles them differently.Rideandrepair, LoSt_AgAiN, 77fib77 and 8 others Thank this. -
