Many "moons" ago Keri and I were in a local Wally World and I was checking out in a self-service area. This was back when Keri was still married. I don't even remember what it was about but Keri had actually got angry at me about something and we were debating as I was checking out. I missed something and left it in the buggy and my mind was just not there OR was Keri's. As I was about to pass through the door the greeter asked to see my receipt. I froze when I come to realize I had in fact just committed shoplifting. Keri went from angry to laughing and I am sure my face changed several colors. I guy was cool and Keri took the buggy out and I returned and paid for the item.

During this time, I got a call,”Where you at, they need that Rolled Corn!”
Me “Getting liquid Platinum as it’s probably more valuable then gold.”

“Customer is waiting on you!”
Me
“Good, tell him I’m 180 miles, and I’ll get started after lunch.”

“But! They need it!!”

me “I bet they’re not going to miss lunch, usually I eat out of my fridge, but today I’m going to run like a professional, I loaded this morning, 480 mile trip and you expect it before noon.
Should’ve got someone to cover it yesterday.
I’ll send you a picture of my lunch you can forward to your customer.”

Costco and Sam's and other "Membership" type club stores I will let them do the receipt check when leaving because it is part of the membership thing. HOWEVER, when I'm at Walmart and they want to check my receipt at the door when leaving- I smile at them tell them to have a nice day too and keep on walking and no one has stopped me, they just hassle and check the next person. Once my son was pushing the cart at Walmart and the guy stopped him and I stepped in told my son keep moving told him if we stole something they can tackle us in the parking lot, but they have better make god dam sure that they have us on camera doing it or it will get expensive for them. I again keep on moving, smiled and told the associate to have a nice day too!

Keri is stuck in Denver and bored. I told her to go hire an Uber and find a truck stop and knock on doors and ask them if they want any company! Now she won't return my texts!
