Please post a short version of the arrival and unloading talk with customer. Should be entertaining, as they may have had a better lunch and feel sorry for your having to scrap together a meager burger. Might be apologetic, never can tell.

 

I think you were and I admire the fact that you stood your ground. Something along those lines happened to me and I took the load back got paid both way.

 

Wonder what test you have to pass for an SDL (Ships Driving License)? Lane test be hell in a congested port, but at slow speed, hopefully non fatal.

Well, I made it at 1545, small mom and pop place, had no scales, had to backup a hill and unload, they acted as if they didn’t care, they uncovered the pit, turned on auger, said go ahead.
Next time I seen them they had my papers signed and I left.
Just washed trailer out and about to head home, unloaded 35 miles from house.

I just hope I don’t get fired for driving out of route.
