I just listen to myself complain about all the things I dislike, which is everything. I never run out of content.

Tough shipper or receiver will do that. You learn to sniff those out when you're booking stuff.

We still step in #### from time to time, but not near as often.

There's some agents with freight that pays pretty good, but they can't set appointments to save their lives.

So that nice load is now maybe average at best, cause you've lost a day, TWO, or just half a day, but you've missed your good reload.

It's a compilation of sifting through the dirt to find the veins of ore.

Last time I complained to myself,it was pouring down and I was trying to hurry and get in truck, I hit my left leg right beside ankle against door frame, and the gentle 60 mph wind slammed door on it too.
    I thought it was broken.
That was 2.5 months ago, beside the ankle bone is a big bone bruise that feels like another joint.
I cussed myself for trying to rush, and felt like bawling, but I had to tough it out and just cuss myself.
I had to use right leg to clutch for a week.:biggrin_25513:

This was definitely a one off. I avoid Baltimore almost with 100% success. The shipper and receiver sucked. And I had to restack a pallet. I hid all the damaged product in the middle of the pallet. Felt like I won the battle on that LOL. Probably bite me in the rear later. Oh well. I’ll send them a check for $17. That should cover it.

When guys are running their mouths about these awesome loads, blah, I'm standing there with my clean clothes in a plastic bag getting a shower, going," Yea? I'm new. Who is that agent?"

Striping too visible and asphalt too fresh to be on old US80 Tucson, Casa Grande, on toward Yuma. Side view still qualifies..

There is an art to stacking the deck.. er the pallet with a space in the middle. Good for concealment of "variances" or even to gain a couple of cases for further transport beneath the sleeper. Tends to salve the wounds inflicted by snappish dockmasters snotty demands. (My talents were utilized prior to lumpers).

Worst weather I ever drove in was a sleet/freezing rain, coming out of Springfield and down around Thayer/Mammoth Springs?? Ouachita?
Snow, Ice, mastered. But when it is coating the w/s so fast you can't see, it is different. Strange, we have it down here more than in the
    northern states.

This is how you look when you're hogging the whole bed.

And you know you're hogging the whole bed.
