I slept through my alarm clock reset, due to extreme rhinoceros sleep.

I feel good, and I'll still make the delivery window, but still.....

I'm on the Triangle Of Pain again, and I'm also having some directional light issues that I've traced to the front of the trailer.

Unfortunately our mechanics attatch the nose box to the trailer with stuff that resembles mastic, and they've taken out the bolts to the trailer fuse access panel, and replaced them with rivets.

I just carry a basic set....no drill or rivet gun.

I think they've had a problem in the past with drivers getting in there and cobbing around.

Well, I'm on the toll road, (no scales), and as long as I stay in the right lane I should be fine.

Coffee time......

 

So we has arrived and are being unloaded after driving through the wee hours of the morning for 7 hours and 15 minutes.

The OM has authorized a Whataburger.

 

Note to Self.
690 miles, 2 loads 1 unload and arriving at next unload driving mostly 2 lane misery loads (Missouri rolling hills and 25 mph curves) isn’t my idea of a good drive anymore.
And did i mention it’s Taining?
I got out of it for a bit but it’s Taining sideways and lightning and booming.
is it time to climb under mattress yet?
We’re in the Red.

But we’ve been sitting here waiting to unload this morning, I think we’re next, just haven’t figured why i had to get here last night...

 

This dust can’t be good to breathe..

Our pet food can’t touch, that’s why we require trucks to have a washout before loading products, because what about our pets???!!

Per TM instruction, I'm at the Love's/Speedco in Edon, OH, waiting for the mechanic to check out my light problem.

"Be about a 4 hour wait"......

I'm about 3.5 hrs from the Dayton terminal, but I guess dispatch and the TM wanna keep me on the route to the receiver in Albany NY.

Call Missus Skillet and then catch a nap, I guess.

Missus Skillet will be pleased. She was upset that my lights weren't working properly, and didn't even want me to drive to a place to get them fixed.

I now regret passing that Sbarro's in the interest of getting to the mechanic ASAP......

 

We are also being punished.

OR

The punishment just continues. This was supposed to be done at 0930.

And it's now 1130. Still have another stop.

The punishment is real.
