Fun times...
Used to have a customer in my forklift repair days. Before we took him on, I had been in his place (loitering for something) when a phone call come in. After some lame excusing, he told his young clerk to get ??'s check out of the safe to mail, as he had called the third time.. This was byplay overheard I filed away.
Long time later we did some work and even later not paid. So, drive over, walk in and tell the clerk. Would you get my check for XXX.xx out of the safe and you will not have mail it. He came out and said something to the effect he did not appreciate my inference so I told him I bet ole ??'s did not appreciate having to call three times either. Actually made a pretty good customer out of him. Sometimes it is better to drive the brass tacks in first.

Well, climbed under Freightliner, went from front to back, checked it out, greased, didn’t think I was going to get up, but.. we also accomplished that, though I’d imagine it wasn’t pretty.
I don’t remember getting up from the ground being so difficult.
Guess just like it’s no fun telling jokes to cattle, they've herd it all.

Oh, don't get into business with a cheetah, cheetahs never prosper.

 

Which one are you at? They have a few locations, each is owned by different family members. They have pretty good food, just have to remember that it’s Texas style BBQ. The sausages are a favorite, brisket is good as well. Some do turkey, thats also good.
