In Arkansas permeant trailer tags are done at dmv, given same day you go there.
Apportioned truck tags take 2-3 weeks

 

I think Idaho is like $185, and easy paperwork for a permanent plate. Might be worth looking into come renewal time.

 

Between watching a couple of young granddaughters today and working on a bid proposal, I have decided that I have earned this :

 

4 months for apportioned plates here and 1 month for trailer plates.. Although I made mistake on paperwork on truck plates so it took longer. very inefficient process down here. Least in my experience. the dealer recommended I use their 3rd party company for the trailer plate because If I go directly thru the state dmv its going to take twice as long is what they said. They gave me a 45 day temp tag. Was getting worried that was gonna runout
