Nevermind, I figured it out.

 

I am very relieved. After reading of bar be qd lizards, and then rediscovering an old favorite, full of vitamins and such, I was afraid that might have been half a cat on the platter with its head under the towel.

 

...and digging 1 foot + deep traps with minor mud base, NOT sharp sticks, for the laughter...or other reason(s).
Something a neighbor and I, around 8 years young, us fiends, did some number of times in both our front yards. NO Adult or Child ever broke a leg or shin or ankle, nor was any Animal ever harmed.

 

I used to, flat handed, "hold on to" the secure roof, when I wasn't sitting at the tailgate.
Then Subaru Brat had the mounted Sport Seats (without seat "belts"), but no one can use them for seats because they're somehow unsafe.

 

68 ford camper special, had a bench seat from another truck in the bed, up against the cab. Nothing bolted down.

Makes me glad that (1) I'm experienced enough not to need a trainer, and (2) I never worked for an outfit that was so piss poor at their jobs they thought they needed 3 people in the truck.

 

HB treads on thin ice most of the time but not that thin
