The last time we came through here we noticed a new TA in Orygun just passed the scale.

So this time we stopped for fuel cause it's cheap, cheap, like the birdie.

Place has 10 or 12 fuel lanes, all open.

The OM isn't sure which is more impressive,

The fact that somebody has already destroyed one of the card readers, or that we picked that lane.

Yep, George Jones riding the mower right after this-

The King Is Gone (So Are You)

Last night, I broke the seal on a Jim Beam decanter
    That looks like Elvis
I soaked the label off a Flintstone Jelly Bean jar

I cleared us off a place on that
One little table that you left us
And pulled me up a big ole piece of floor

I pulled the head off Elvis
Filled Fred up to his pelvis
Yabba Dabba Doo, the King is gone
    And so are you

'Round about ten, we all got to talking
    'Bout Graceland, Bedrock and such
The conversation finally turned to women
But they said they didn't get around too much
    Elvis said, "Find 'em young"
And Fred said, "Old fashioned girls are fun"
Yabba Dabba Doo, the King is gone
    And so are you

Later on, it finally hit me
That you wouldn't be ah coming home no more
'Cause this time I know you won't forgive me
Like all of them other times before
    Then I broke Elvis' nose
Pouring the last drop from his toes
Yabba Dabba Doo, the King is gone
    And so are you
Yabba Dabba Doo, the King is gone
    So are you

Last night, I broke the seal on a Jim Beam decanter
    That looks like Elvis
    I soaked the label off
    A Flintstone Jelly Bean jar...

    Well.

Gotta wait til insurance company company opens to swap insurance from non commercial, to commercial on freightliner.

Need to swap out those batteries on parksmart.
Supposed to have a load setup for tomorrow, but we’ll just sit back and listen to the playlist.

    (Yeah, I still like Redbone)

Yup. It's not as bad as last year but it's bad enough.

Yeah it isn't as bad as last year yet. That area needs a break. I'll give them props for fixing the hills after last years fires I really was expecting major slides this year. That and a lack of heavy rainfall helped I suppose.

Yup. The drought was a mixed blessing I guess. I probably wouldn't say that out loud at the next Rice Grower's meeting or at the Almond Growers .
There's a lot of road remediation and slope channeling going on on last year's burns. Lots of state and federal bucks being spent.
You'll get a kick out of this...a lot of the old logging roads that were taken out are being put back in or will be in the next couple of years. It dawned on them...finally...that they were restricting access to fire equipment.
Sometimes it seems like a contest between the Feds and the State to see which one is dumber.

We has arrived at the indigenous receiver and are being unloaded.

Thus completing the arduous mega journey.

Now we must DH 156 miles over to The Ho to start another arduous mega journey going east tomorrow.

Well, I went on the post at Ft Eustis and got my ears lowered. $13.50 plus tip. Not too bad!
