So the significantly better three quarters and I were driving into McAllen today heading west on I-2. Got off in Mission for a bite and I was pulled over by Mr. Trooper. We were in my dually. The officer gives me a warning for having no mud flaps on the truck. I haven't bothered to replace them after I tore them off being stupid in a field a couple of years ago.

Later in the afternoon, we're headed north on 281 and I pass a trooper whose surveying traffic. Apparently, he surveyed me, pulls out, catches up and hits me with his lights. Good afternoon, officer, how are you today? Fine sir, I pulled you over because you're missing your mud flaps.

Is there a Texas mud flap blitz going on?
Actually, it's a thing and I never knew it.
