I've only ever welded on one fuel tanker... And I rinsed it multiple times, let it sit with all valves and hatches open outside for six months before even considering striking an arc on it... And that was just working externally, to convert the plumbing to a single outlet to be used as a fertilizer tanker.
The tanker I will be welding on is a fertilizer tanker that has been sitting for about 18 months waiting on repairs. I lay a box fan over the man hole after I get inside so it sucks air out... All the vents and valves are left open to alow fresh air in. I found that if the box fan blows air IN it causes too much turbulence and blows away too much of the shielding gas from the welding torch and messes up the welds.
What if it Snows?

A couple lessons of the day, that have nothing in common.
1.) Never trust a zombie.
What the… ..
No.
No… I meant the drink.
Everyone knows there is no such things as zombies… no matter what that creepy noise was while your standing behind your cab, junk in hand taking a leak after midnight…
1 ounce light rum
1 ounce gold rum
1 ounce unsweetened pineapple juice
1 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice from 1/2 lemon
1 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice, from 1 large lime
1 ounce passion fruit syrup
1/2 ounce simple syrup
1 dash aromatic bitters
1 ounce 151-proof dark rum
Fresh mint sprig, for garnish
Lesson 2.
Things go from good to bad i. the link of an eye.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Skip a few pages..
“Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.”

No style to them like the cabovers of old.
Even the old freightliners looked good, though the one i drove your back/kidney region was killing you after2-3 days and a couple weeks of driving it you couldn’t sit on the couch at home cause your tailbone was bruised.

Its important to remember for anybody who doubts the technology coming to the future of trucking. Spacex literally built a rocket that lands itself and can be reused for a fraction of the price that NASA was building rockets and those are 1 time use..and they are blasting these things off 3-4 times a week. These flights are fully autonomous. These are the same type of people building these autonomous systems in trucking and the owner of spacex is building semi's. Why would anybody wanna bet against that is beyond me. Its only a matter of time until it happens. Combine autonomous technology with A.I. and you will eliminate a truck driver forever.

Just backed into building, next to unload and over pit.
Seems the yard dog who dropped a trailer over pit and starting unloading it then shuttled other trailers around.
Somehow, the pit “switched bins” to 13 and loaded yeast into the wrong tank.
Have now shut down the hammer mill, ie plant down!!!
No timeframe.

If pup gets some left over human food and cat comes into room. The pup will attach and make the cat run out the room. He will not allow cat to be in room until he is done eating. Pretty funny seeing him jump on top of cat and push him to the ground growling and barking the whole time. He is a little meany when it comes to human food. Other food he could care less about if the cat eats it.austinmike, Feedman, homeskillet and 8 others Thank this.
