I was actually SCHOOLED on that by an old timer (late 70's) running thru probably 6 feet of slime.
I was sunk to the frame with 35" M/S tires, HE was in a Chevy Silverado with street tires.dwells40, Dale thompson, Dave_in_AZ and 8 others Thank this. -
Airing down helps A LOT with traction. It also minimizes chances of flat tires. Also it makes the ride smooth. Jeeps have two solid axles and they suck when the road gets rough. So airing down helps with comfort. I always air down, if not for traction but for my comfort.dwells40, Dave_in_AZ, JolliRoger and 3 others Thank this.

So— the HB has been placed on ultra secret probation and is not allowed to enter the shop unsupervised—replaced the battery in the 4wheeler a couple months ago cause she likes to use it as a lounge and bumps the key on — other half put her in there the other day — the key was on and the new battery is dead

Sure acted like a Gas Leak, here's a Video of it (unfortunately the Camera wasn't aimed properly to view the entire Building)
, A massive explosion rocked the West Reading skyline on Friday evening, sending debris flying through the air and triggering a multi-alarm fire. Watch: Building explosion in West Reading triggers multi-alarm fireDale thompson, homeskillet, Dave_in_AZ and 4 others Thank this. -
As much as I love Jeeps, I will replace it with a Tacoma or Ranger when I get my CDL and get a job. Tacoma and Ranger are more comfortable and not too bad offroad.Dale thompson, Dave_in_AZ, BennysPennys and 1 other person Thank this.

Tacoma and Ranger (haven't owned 1) but they seem to do pretty stinkin' goodDale thompson, Dave_in_AZ, BennysPennys and 4 others Thank this.

Yes they are for most stuff. Just not for rock crawling due to lack of solid axle in the front. But I can live with that. I like camping and overlanding more than rock crawling. I will cover the bed and sleep in it. Thinking of a 2 door Tacoma with long bed and stick shift
Dale thompson, D.Tibbitt, 77fib77 and 5 others Thank this. -
