Denver Metro area has had a deluge of LA/SoCal refugees along the same line as PHX metro and Montana.

It's a climate middle ground for them, Not as roasting hot as AZ, not as much WINTER as Montana.

Unfortunately they brought their issues with them and have driven the population to even further exceed the regional natural resource's ability to support "humans", just like the other areas

i moved the pickup back out to the front yard next to the semi.. they had quite the mouse mansion getting built in the engine bay. luckily on a 95 there isnt that much wiring to eat.. as long as i keep the bright lights underneath it at night they stay away and they dont dare go near the semi because of all the lights underneath and if they ever touched it id be sitting out there with a shotgun for them until they are gone.. but they are to smart for all the traps... they eat all the bait and avoid getting snapped. they are to big for the 5gallon bucket trap. eat the bait off of there.. need something bigger like a 55gallon drum where they fall in and cant jump out..

Lil Johnny came to visit the grandparents and went out to grandpa’s shop to find that he was smoking a fine Cuban cigar and had a glass of gentleman Jack whiskey
Johnny watched for a little while and asked grandpa if he could have a puff — grandpa asked if he could touch his butthole with his pecker — Johnny said no I can’t so how about a little sip of whiskey— same question and answer
Johnny went back to the house pouting and grandma said she’d whip him up a batch of chocolate chip cookies
Johnny was sitting at the table enjoying the cookies when grandpa came in and said hey, those look pretty tasty, how about a couple— Johnny asked grandpa if he could touch his butthole with his pecker— grandpa said yes Johnny, indeed I can— Johnny said good, go F yourself cause these are mine

So about 4 or 5 miles from the plant, along the main route we run to get to and from the plant, lives an old man... Hes got to be at least 80. Parked next to his house is an old, fading, cab over (with buckets over the stacks) and an absolutely ancient reefer trailer.

Every now and then I will be driving past as he goes to gather his mail. Cars and pickups blow past and he pays them no mind; but he will hear me from about 1/2 mile away, look my way, raise a gloved, hand and wave. I always give him a honk and a wave. I believe he is a retired O/O with a hunger for the big road still. Makes me smile that he waves to me, and I'm honored to honk and wave in return.

Would it be too much of a stretch to imagine the if some hairlip, bud light drink’n MF’er changed the size of lug nuts that they would also leave the right sized lug wrench in the rig that he changed them on???? This would be the definition of being screwed, blued and tattooed
