Cali has higher sales and fuel tax rates than AZ. Added on top is the special added bonus of the Cali Carbon "not a tax" which adds another 30 to 40 cents per gallon.

For those not in loop... WA has started the same kinda program with about the same results. The reason why now WA fuel is about the same price as CA.

 

This one is off 291 in Independence, called Geospace. The turns weren't terrible. The main problem was the nice lady told me how to get there for a sightside back, but it would have been a lot easier as a blindside to get to that dock. Not enough room to bend it right in, had to go back and forth about seven times to get the rear end over and the truck straight.
