Um, $40k for a car that can only go 253 optimal miles between charges? That's cheap?

Didn't say they were cheap. Just not as expensive as that thing.

And the real world winter 200/summer 240 mile range has been more than sufficient for us this past year. The couple of times we were going further we just took the Prius.

Guess that's a privilege of living in a multi car household.
