Is this the monstrous one going up south of the E-Town scales on I 65?

Yes, but at least Greta can sit at McDonalds and eat her big mac while complaining about cows. She will have peace of mind knowing that we are all stuck at home because there is no power to run our electric cars. I guess we are not supposed to talk about that part.

Friend, JolliRoger, Feedman and 10 others Thank this.

That’s funny about the Cat. I forgot who posted about the one that said: Honey, you know what this house needs… is a big box of ####, let’s get a cat. I’m still laughing at that one for months now.

Day 2 back at work, but only Day 1 of actually driving a truck. I did a drop and hook and only drove 442 miles but it felt like 884 miles. Thankfully my brain adapted and I didn't grind or miss any gears, despite my advancing decrepitude. In fact, after a hundred miles I didn't really have to think about it. I did catch myself trying to flip the gear selector on the Jake brake lever every time I hooked and unhooked though. After I had already done it the right way. Wtf.

I watched more TV and especially sports in the last three months than I have in the 20 years before that. That and hanging out with old people (80s and 90s, no offense intended to those present who are similarly situated) really turned my brain to mush. But at least I understand the jokes about the Chiefs now.

This truck has a new ELD tablet in it, which was apparently designed by computer geeks with input and feedback from office people to ensure that it makes drivers' jobs more difficult and annoying while making the office jobs easier. I'm not complaining though. I was pretty sure I could get them to let me drop this load on a yard halfway so I don't have to live unload at the grocery warehouse. Just had to tell them I'd be there two days early. Now I'll be in the communist state while some poor driver is sitting in that dock a thousand miles away.

P.S. Minnesota has a lot of lakes. I had forgotten that.
