Just another day in paradise!

 

You know, I was expecting that this morning after shoveling the driveway yesterday. BUT , it did not materialize. I took a couple ibuprofen about mid way yesterday, maybe that helped.

 

This is the results of 2.5 days of heavy snow and high winds...


Thays just outside my front door, it gets worse the farther north you go. ID-39 has places well over 12" deep for half a mile or more. Work sent folks that commute from outside Blackfoot home 1.5 hours early yesterday because it was like a #### blizzard. Suppose to have another episode of this tomorrow afternoon.

 

Put a patch on it.

Saw $2.49 for regular unleaded on the way home tonight. Has come down $1.40 since Thanksgiving.

 

Pity not Sears and Sears nearly gone. Saw a woman bring in some 4 yr old kids jeans once and the knees were wore thru.
Her claim was not they did not hold up, she was just "not satisfied with the way they had worn." They took them and gave her credit.
I sorta miss Sears now; though I do not break wrenches or wear down ratchets, be nice to know I could...

 

I had a ratchet break the other day… course i was trying to break a bolt loose that Superman put on.
Just as it started to budge, the dang ratchet stripped out.
