They haven’t graded these roads since about this time last year.
One spot is sand where it’s washed out of field, because these new farmers don’t believe in levies.
they run polypipe and when it hits end of field/beds, water runs across road into ditch.

our ditches have a good gravel bottom while the roads are mud.

 

Just above freezing here and foggy visibility about a third of a mile. There’s a gravy shortage and it’s my fault which should be taken care of tomorrow. The dark times are in the last 45 days or so hearing from friends and relatives about the marvels of Florida and Arizona will then come to an end.
