The judge made it home,.. did some stuff in town, got a call from a big shipper in town, wanting to know if I had a dryvan.. told them “Yes. 1 dryvan 2 hoppers..” the Judge picked up a load in a hopper for them, got 3 loads tomorrow short haul, and a promise of dryvan work later on. We’re taking over!!! One load at a time..

If you aint cutting truck loads that eco whatever battery saw is pretty good , sold at ace hardware , other places im sure but is whats close to me .

 

Those bars were actually made to cut fence posts. Reason for being made that way, is the thin "rail" or "bar", is far less likely to be pinched when cutting small trees, such as locust, of which are the main specis of tree for a good fence post. (Cut in the Fall of course). The bar also cuts through the associated "brush",that usually is found in a locust thicket, much easier with less hanging up than a traditional type "bar". My Grandfather said.

I sure wouldn’t want to cut brush with a 35 pound saw. I’ve heard people say they are good for that, but I believe a lighter saw would be easier. Everyone I have ever seen use one developed the habit from working on a pulpwood crew. And their design lends itself to bucking logs that have already been felled. Specifically smaller logs like found in the southeast.
