    I would agree, but I got two issues. One, is where it’s going I don’t have the room. Unless I tear down pasture fence and rework all that. And two, I can’t afford twice the shop. Or I should say I don’t want to afford twice the shop. I will just have to back the trailer in if I need to work on the back.

    Would have loved to have had a starter rebuild shop nearby. He long on crank, slow on the laughing gas..........

    I suppose this is known and used by all fleets now, but. Back in the day Garrard's fleet mechanic had rigged a hand truck with a 12v battery, turn signal set from a wreck, switches for stop light/ brake lights, clearance. Roll out on the yard, plug in a trailer, check out, fix, move on. Our trailers had lights that worked.

    That's exactly what my uncle Jimmy did but at whole new level of he's rich and in the oil bidness with big money to piss away. He had his jeweler make him gold alligator clips with rubies studded and a big gold chain to hold the napkins across his considerable girth. Looked like a real Boss Hogg running around New Orleans.
