    My dad's last truck had an Allison in it at first he hated it, then once he learned how to use it he loved the thing.

    I was taught also that the clutch was for starting and stop otherwise you didn't push but cover in case thing go south. And it's NOT a foot rest.

    My GF’s son has the Silverado with the 4 banger turbo and it is an absolute turd. Turbo is spooled up so much just to keep the mass moving that it’s not that great on fuel. I have a new Tacoma with the 4 banger turbo and it pulls my 4K lb boat just fine. But the Taco weights 1K less than a Silverado.
