Loaded and had to swing home, 100 miles out of way, help dad. Now heading to Nebraska, drop tomorrow…


Grabbed a bite to eat, and ran out the door, hot dog and mustard and bottle water in hand… release brakes and ready for take off….again.
694 miles still ahead..79000 lb gross… eta… 0200 after fuel and 30 break…

And there I was.....on vacation with a beer.

 

I’m doing my best to type this out one handed. Everything is finished and I just finished eating dinner. Insert stent #5. Weak but alive. Bethany and I have been making faces at each other over FaceTime. That is until her mean mother made her stop and get a bath. I am hoping to be home tomorrow.

I would have bought one (1) but this auction outfit dosent get things done as efficiently as Scotty’s. They were piddling around selling a bunch of little stuff. One. Item. At. A. Time. Ain’t nobody got time for that. So I bailed.

 

Coming home after a road trip used to feel good now that the house is empty not so much but at least the house boss acted happy about my return. Time to swap the washer out this effing laundry never ends. Single life sucks.
