My mother did that short cut in the early 80's , dad was not impressed , not sure what was said but ended up with her running to bedroom and slamming the door . I just remember dad's exclamation GD it !

 

I think everyone’s mom had a perm back then.

 

mother's wasnt a perm it was short almost like a bowl cut or somethin . Anyhow it wasn't repeated.
