Last week the low temp on Wednesday was -5.

Tomorrow the high will be 53.

Which is proof that the weather is female.

 

Maybe they are eating g the lasagna.

 

Its not even 8 and it feels like midnight. I chose IHOP over a bar and grill place across the freeway because I didn't even have the energy to drink a beer and be social lol.

Good news is Im already loaded for Monroe, La and have a reload set up headed up to the Dallas area. My truck should have all new parts in the engine by tomorrow or Thurs. So I think I'll be dropping off the 379 in Dallas and either hitching a ride to SA or riding THE MEGA BUS *Gasp*

 

Even though this Red Traingle with exclaimation point stays on, the elog seems to be working, had to wait 20 minutes for AMX to back in, I had my marker lights on, after he finally made it, even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in awhile, I got parked while omni was yelling at me I had 4 minutes remaining.
I noticed the driver was so thankful in the AMX, hes going to sleep with his one headlight on

 

We are licensed carry in my state. We don't have that silly robbing and so forth. They know they will more than likely as not face a lawful gun and someone who knows generally how to use it. I am a percentage that is a little more dangerous to the robbers, being IDF trained. So if that situation comes up then we'll see how it goes, it's going to happen very fast.

 

That should be around 1605 where people wanted to essentially nuke parliament etc. with a hell of alot of gunpowder.

 

No one robs anyone in Arkansas?! Rotfl okay. There's a mountain of statistics that says you're wrong.

 

I know what you are saying Mr. @x1Heavy ... but try to explain this to the people here... Most can't understand.... It's illegal for law abide Brazilian citizens to carry a gun... One can, if provide all the necessary documentation and fulfill the requirements and pay the fees, and go thru psicological evaluations, etc, etc, one can buy a gun (revolver and a few others) but they must keep the gun at home or at work (where the paperwork says it will be). If one wants to carry the gun out of those places, they will need to show legitimate need for that.. it's a lengthy bureaucratic process... Most of the population doesn't have any guns and are afraid of them... They live in fear, in their homes behind bars... And the bandits have all the armaments, even military armaments... they can fight with military police at their same level... Because the police in Brasil is underpaid, unprepared, don't have enough equipment, vehicles, so forth and so on...

When police "invade" the slums... it's real war on the streets... between them and the drug gangs that rule in the area...

Police doesn't have enough money to buy bigger vehicles... so the policeman has to accommodate in the trunk of a smaller vehicle while patrolling...

I don't think you got Carried away Rocks. America is unique in the world having stood before God and declared that we have a god given right to bear arms behind that which also protects freedom of speech. Ignoring current stressors and mindless media aside and leaving politics strictly alone, there will always be people who do not believe in guns and think 911 will save them. We have endured terrorist and active shooter problems that kill and hurt a awful lot of people here and that will continue.

Generally Free States like Arkansas has a special level of licensing allowing one to carry a handgun concealed inside a Church, College (Not private, only public and state) and our State Capital Building etc. After alot of training from the State Police which issues that kind of level in licensing. I am content with the lower level and work with IDF to keep the rust off now and then. I don't go to government buildings very often. Maybe to renew my license as I did two weeks ago and it will be good for 8 years.

There is a school holding kindergarden through 12th grade in several areas of White County, I believe we are the first to not only have armed staff with the students all the time and also have state and local law also armed. Our Lawmen are under armor and some have training capable of taking on bad guys at a higher level than just a patrol man. As you can imagine it's very peaceful here.

For a bad person, gang member and so forth to function as you showed us in pictures (Same thing here in the USA) they have to decide for themselves that Laws do not matter. People do not matter just themselves and their vices and addictions. They know they can scare the so called sheep with those weapons because the people (Aka sheep) have none. Or are disarmed by being away from the house going to market or wherever by the state or nation.

Some of our states are not free states. They are anti gun as any. Several actually says my ammunition is illegal. Others say my weapon is illegal. And still more think I fire too many bullets too fast. Even though I am under the 10 round limit (I can go through about 50 in 20 seconds with many magazines in the other carrier on my belt) Those are the states I cannot and will not travel to. Several do not allow anything at all no license no nothing. Strictly no. And no.

Some of my classmates in the training had 30+ rounds in a single mag before they have to unload. and reload. Ive used to be able to keep up with them reloading every 9 rounds and they always empty first and I would be 4 or so bullets behind.

States are sovereign and can make own laws within our system of Government. Unfortunately sometimes the people find themselves effectively disarmed and emigrate to other states that might not have any law at all and you are required to have weapons in other places like Northern Georgia.

There are night and day differences between Brazil and America. And Brazil is pretty lawless to the point that you will need a formal Military Set-Piece attack against those gangs or people who advertise themselves on social media. They stand to be killed or captured. America has places around the Nation where there is not much law if any at all. The body counts each weekend speak for themselves.

However, there are many many many places around America that is quiet and you will not see the problems here that you have down there if you are careful in picking where to live your life and be happy. We had four people hit a drug store for narcotics some years ago and two were armed running through my home grounds trying to escape. I was armed myself taking the trash out at that hour. Im just happy that it worked out the way it ultimately did because making a potential decision to take on two very desperate young teens with guns trying to escape in the dark of night was something that I was slightly behind on.

Ultimately many police came from all over within about 8 hours and captured the two in a field. They could not get out of that field. There was no way. Too many police too many dogs and helicopters etc. What it was with the 4 total bad guys that night, it was a Houston Gang that preyed on Eastern Arkansas for narcotic pills for 10 years. They were finally caught, tried and convicted to the point that in the Federal Jail wherever they may be they get to be buried for 80 more years at our expense unable to do anything. they will die there.

As for me, Im just happy that nothing came to a point that I would need to do what I needed to do. It would involve court action, lawyers, maybe a little jailing until bail under one of my insurance (USCCA) and so forth. Not to mention civil suits by the families of the Dindus (Did not do anything... sweet boys never this violent they say...)

I don't have time for that in my life. Then again if I was not armed I am sheep and they get to decide if I have a future or not. No thank you.
