Think of 1 truck company, or small business that has DOT testing requirements. Put them all together into a large group of people.
The “consortium” then has an administrator that oversees operating the program, making the notifications and tracking results.
It is a DOT requirement that some sort of testing program must be conducted. If the company is large enough, they could have a company run program. For small businesses, it is more cost effective to be a consortium member.

Still get those in hopper work. “Go down to the old pivot, hit that left. Go to the old school house(been torn down for 40 years) and cross the little bridge. No wait!! Right before that little bridge, Go left. Go to the RR crossing…. How tall is your truck? Ohh go up and over, we got a little ridge built on the levee the track is on, cause tractors won’t fit either, I think you can make it up and over…., go to black barn and you’re there.”

    real directions too.

So the paperwork had Independent Pipeliners on it so it would be our outfit plus a bunch of other small to medium outfits— I was kinda nervous that it was just ours and there’s only a handful of guys packing CDLs — I don’t have a problem getting tested anytime anywhere, just don’t want to be having to breakdown and go through the motions every month— that would get very old very quick

That would have been the test demand from the administrator. They should be like that, that’s part of how they track the results. They should have taken that paperwork and only given you the 1 or 2 copies of the custody paperwork.

Exactly what it was— Safety Shadelack called and said he was in a 10 ton bind and would be my girlfriend forever if I helped get him out of it— can’t turn down an offer like that so… never mind— just wanted to know what I got myself into

Got to receiver earlier. Ended up being a drop trailer, and not a live unload. Off for a couple of days, then likely going back to west coast again from the Midwest. Lots of road work going on now in Wyoming and Nebraska. Many stretches are down to 2 lanes for EB and WB. Nebraska was actually windier than Wyoming this time.
