Opus I'm going out on a limb here and say the Navy does an incredible job with their fire control on 16 in guns, more so considering the projectile weight fried from a 16 inch barrel on a us navy ship is 1800-2700 lbs. and fired from a moving ship at a target 26 miles out.

You have no idea. I was a Meteorologist in the milatary and part of the job was Ballistics. Those big guns can hit a car 20 miles away.
