80 west is a bit carpy this AM. Little America was fogged in nicely, then the snow on the ground had everyone in a panic. Was seeing trucks chain for mostly bare pavement. WYDOT was out some sanding. Seems east bound was shut down in Evanston for a while.
Gotta love springtime in Wyoming!!!!!!!!!
What if it Snows?

We don't care what east bound does lol. S is no stranger to snow or icy conditions. If he has to chain he will, but he knows the difference.

From Little America to SLC, barefoot all the way.
Should be better now.lovesthedrive and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -

I woke up in a panic yesterday evening and almost called dispatch to tell them I would be late. Then I realized it was evening, not morning.WesternPlains, Cattleman84, tucker and 3 others Thank this.

I turn on the wind layer and warnings layers in the MyRadar app. The red areas are flooding. St. Joseph, KS has a green block, noting flash flooding. More rain is on the way.
WesternPlains, InTooDeep, lovesthedrive and 1 other person Thank this. -

@Lepton1 's captured image reminds me of an exercise I did for myself a decade or so ago......
Took a map of the US and started drawing red and yellow boxes around areas I did not want to live/Move to.
Yellow east of the sierras/cascades and north of I70, Red north of I90. Red within 50 miles of the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic, Yellow at 100 miles. Big red and yellow boxes around tornado alley. I had the map up on the wall of a retail store and customers would ask what was wrong with the Mississippi and other areas that were marked red 25 miles either side and 50 miles for yellow. When I asked if they had ever heard of Flood planes most either blinked ignorantly or laughed and said they had not considered that.
Once I crossed off Major metro areas and the areas that get too dang hot the habitable spots left were few.InTooDeep, lovesthedrive, Dave_in_AZ and 2 others Thank this. -
People often say the same thing about Maine.
This would have been terrific for April first. -
Worked myself ( or I should say we) out of a job today — me an and old timer fulfilled a contract for the boss a couple days ahead of schedule— each got a couple extra benjamin’s for a job well done.
Dave_in_AZ and lovesthedrive Thank this.
