I have to admit I have been partial to the police editions for a long time. A couple of times have dang near put the money out for one. Like the Dynas also.

First order of business for me (for either bike) would be: Dump the sissy bar and seats that are on them and go back to the PD sprung seat. But I do not think like all the fashion victims that normally set up those bikes.

I also like the tractor seat on the police bikes. They have one there that they said they would throw in it for me if I buy it.

Honda-CB750F-Super-Sport-Right-Side-1.jpg it's just a Google image but this is what my first bike was, same color combo and everything. My dad is a member of a group of I guess we will say "motorcycle enthusiasts" , he hated that thing. Eventually got me to sell it and got a guy to sell me a iron head sporty for the $600 I sold the Honda for lol.

The iron head was such a pos. Straight piped, s&s carb and SLOW! Handled bad too. The only good things were it sounded good and I could go on club rides which was pretty bad ### at 17.

Sort of funny thing. Had a 1973 Z-1. This was the bike that made the superbike famous. Also a lot of people.
Eddie Lawson, Wes Cooley and Pops Yoshimura, the man that made them go. Fast forward a dozen years. Had a Yamaha FJ 600, set up for road racing. The class was sportsman, so it could have a few minor changes from stock, but not many. Used to ride it on the street some as well. Had a 45 mile commute. One day, getting on the highway, this guy pulls on with a very clean Z-1. Well, we sort of feel things out, then just gas on it. Guess he thought he was going to walk me, guessed wrong. he just could not pull away, but I couldn’t get by either.
So for months we hit the highway about the same place and time. It was a match, we had fun.

Yeah it wasnt till i moved to vegas I became involved in such things. At that age im sure it would have been quite exciting. I just ride with some of the local groups. (God packs of supersports are dumb.) And im no exception.

It was awesome. You feel like the baddest mofo ever. It led me to a bunch of bad decisions that landed me in a state sponsored all year long summer camp but ultimately good times.
